Russia ups oil export to non-CIS 2% in 7 mths

MOSCOW. Aug 3 (Interfax) - Russia raised oil exports to non-CIS countries 2% year-on-year in January-July 2009 to 122.374 million tonnes (4.231 million barrels per day), the Fuel and Energy Central Dispatch Directorate said.

Transneft , the national pipeline operator, pumped 108.153 million tonnes of Russian crude to non-CIS countries in the seven months. Exports bypassing Transneft came to 14.221 million tonnes.

In July alone, Transneft carried 14.825 million tonnes of Russian crude to non-CIS countries, while exports bypassing the monopoly totaled 1.543 million tonnes.

Transneft shipments via the port of Novorossiisk came to 25.792 million tonnes in the seven months, including transit, including 3.733 million tonnes in July; shipments via Tuapse - 2.539 million tonnes (397,000 tonnes), via Odessa - 2.04 million tonnes (264,000 tonnes), via Primorsk - 42.902 million tonnes (6.09 million tonnes) and via Yuzhny - 5.688 million tonnes (333,000 tonnes).

Rosneft exported 26.642 million tonnes of oil to the non-CIS using Transneft pipelines in the seven months, including 3.62 million tonnes in July; Lukoil - 15.547 million tonnes (1.968 million tonnes); Surgutneftegas - 16.193 million tonnes (2.171 million tonnes); TNK -BP Holding - 20.57 million tonnes (2.942 million tonnes); Gazprom Neft - 8.455 million tonnes (1.044 million tonnes) and Tatneft - 8.716 million tonnes (1.44 million tonnes).

Companies that are not part of vertically integrated oil companies shipped 5.092 million tonnes of oil abroad via Transneft in the seven months, including 629,000 tonnes in July.

Transit of oil from Kazakhstan came to 12.54 million tonnes in the seven months (1.769 million tonnes in July) and transit of Azerbaijani oil to 1.476 million tonnes (247,000 tonnes).

Exports to the CIS fell, by 2.7% to 19.215 million tonnes in the seven months. Exports to Kazakhstan fell 23.4% to 3.032 million tonnes, but exports to Belarus grew 2.9% to 12.647 million tonnes and exports to Ukraine rose 1.2% to 3.535 million tonnes.
