FAS allows SUEK
MOSCOW. Aug 3 (Interfax) - The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has approved an application made by Cyprus-based offshore Donalink Limited, which s the main shareholders in SUEK, to acquire 50% of the voting shares in OJSC MRSK Siberia , the FAS said in a statement.
At present, SUEK directly holders 0.3% of the shares in MRSK Siberia. An additional 28.05% in MRSK Siberia is owned by CJSC Interregional Electricity Distribution Company, which was earlier spun-off from SUEK. In addition, MMC Norilsk Nickel owns 8.22% of the shares in MRSK Siberia while OJSC MRSK Holding has a controlling packet in company.
OJSC MRSK Siberia's charter capital comes to 8,936,765,511.5 rubles divided into 89,367,655,155 common shares a face value of 10 kopecks each.
