Russian share prices fall 0.3%-3% in early trading

MOSCOW. Aug 4 (Interfax) - The Russian stock market fell when trading began on Tuesday as the situation on the international stock and commodity markets started to deteriorate.

Benchmark stocks were down 0.3%-3% and the MICEX stock index was off 1% to 1088 in the first two minutes of trading.

VTB fell 2.9% after the bank posted worse-than-expected net losses for the first quarter of 2009.
