Russia generates 6.4% less electricity, consumption down 6.6% in 7 mths
MOSCOW. Aug 6 (Interfax) - Russia generated 560 billion kilowatt-hour of electricity in January-July 2009, down 6.4% year-on-year, the System Operator said.
Power consumption fell 6.6% to 551 billion kWh.
