Russian stocks open lower on Fri; MICEX index down 0.42% at 10:32 a.m.
MOSCOW. Aug 7 (Interfax) - Russian stocks opened lower on Friday with the blue chips losing as much as 1.4% in the first minutes of trading on worsening external factors.
The MICEX index was up 0.42% to 1,087.41 points as of 10:32 a.m.
Decliners included MMC Norilsk Nickel - down 1.4%, Tatneft - down 1.3%, Surgutneftegas - down 0.9%, VTB - down 0.7%, Gazprom Neft - down 0.7%, Rostelecom - down 0.6%, Sberbank Russia - down 0.5%, Severstal - down 0.5%, Lukoil - down 0.4%, FGC UES - down 0.4%, Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) - down 0.3%, Rosneft - down 0.3%, Gazprom - down 0.1% and Transneft preferred shares - down 1.2%.
Advancers included RusHydro - up 0.9%, Polyus Gold - up 0.6% and Uralsvyazinform - up 0.4%
