Govt to assign 200 Bln rubles for long-term defense contracts in 2010

SOCHI. Aug 7 (Interfax) - The Russian state plans to assign up to 200 billion rubles for long-term projects in the framework of the state defense contract in 2010, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said on Friday.

"I want key attention to be paid to the steady fulfillment of long-term projects that are already under way. They must not be threatened. Therefore up to 200 billion rubles are planned to be assigned for these purposes in 2010," Putin said at a conference on the state defense contract.
