Perm Azot revenue down 17.4% in H1

PERM. Aug 14 (Interfax) - Azot from Perm territory, a company in the Uralchim group, saw revenue decline 17.4% in the first half of 2009 year-on-year to 6.417 billion rubles, the company said in its financial statement.

The company blamed significantly lower prices on its main products for the decline.

It was reported earlier that Azot's net profit plummeted over 75% to 647.575 million rubles in the first half.

Azot is wholly owned by Uralchim.
