MOSCOW. Aug 21 (Interfax) - Russo-Italian company SuperJet International has announced that it signed a memorandum of mutual understand with Budapest-based Aeroplex for the provision of technical and maintenance services, SJI said in a statement.

The statement said that the signing took place at the MAKS-2009 airshow in Moscow.

SJI said that Aeroplex would become part of a network of authorized centers providing technical assistance and maintenance for the former company's operations. The network is being formed to provide maintenance, technical and liner service to the SSJ-100 aircraft. The company will also form field teams that can provide services outside of its base.

Aeroplex, which is part of Central Europe Aircraft Technology Center, is based at Budapest International Airport. The company is a subsidiary of Malev. Aeroplex for formed in 1992 to provide airliner maintenance services. In 2007, Aeroplex opened a branch in Moscow at Domodedovo Airport. The company plans to develop additional liner and aircraft service stations in the near future.
