Russian stocks open with mixed trends; MICEX up 0.1% to 1117 pts
MOSCOW. Aug 26 (Interfax) - The Russian stock market opened with mixed trends on Wednesday as they reacted to growth in global indices in addition to a decline in oil prices.
The MICEX index rose 0.1% to 1117.11 points when trading opened.
Lukoil shares were down 0.4%, Rosneft - 0.3%, Gazprom Neft - 0.8%, Surgutneftegas - 0.3% and Tatneft - 0.7%.
Gazprom stock was up 0.7%, VTB Bank - 0.7%, MMC Norilsk Nickel - 0.2%, Sberbank - 0.2% and Polyus Gold - 0.1%.
