Protek and subsidiary of Pharmacy Chain 36.6 agree on payment of 95 mln rubles in debt

MOSCOW. Aug 31 (Interfax) - CJSC Protek and Moscow-based CJSC Pharmacy 36.6, a subsidiary of OJSC Pharmacy Chain 36.6, have signed an amicable agreement for extinguishing 95-million rubles in debt, the companies said in a joint agreement. The statement said that CJSC Pharmacy 36.6 is obliged to pay 50% of the debt by September 15 of this year. The remaining half of the debt should be paid no later than October 15, 2009.

The agreement will be confirmed at a court hearing slated to take place on September 1 at the Ninth Arbitration Appeals Court.

Pharmacy Chain 36.6 said that it was "continuing to follow through on its obligations to Protek and expressed its readiness to extinguish the current debt on other subsidiaries such as Atoll-Pharm Wholesale Warehouse in accordance with Russian legislation."
