VEB board approves $545-mln loan for Rosneftbunker

MOSCOW. Sept 2 (Interfax) - The supervisory board at Russia's Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank, VEB) has approved an eight-year $545-million loan for Rosneftbunker for the construction of infrastructure at the Ust-Luga port, VEB Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev told journalists following a board meeting.

"We approved an expansion in VEB's participation in financing for infrastructure in Ust-Luga," he said.

The increase in financing "strengthens the potential of this infrastructure project and will increase shipments in the nearest phase to 30 million tonnes of oil and petroleum products with further growth in the future," he said.
