New Avtovaz executive vice president Vilchik expected back at work in days
TOGLIATTI/MOSCOW. Sept 3 (Interfax) - Vitaly Vilchik, who was appointed vice president of production at carmaker Avtovaz on Tuesday and hospitalized early Wednesday morning, is expected back at work "within days," the company's press office said, quoting Vilchik himself.
Vilchuk was diagnosed with hypertension. "A Samara clinic found no serious health problems requiring urgent treatment," Avtovaz said.
Vilchik has been appointed executive vice president for production and technical development, with responsibility for a new model range. He had originally planned to retire in July, but management persuaded him to stay on.
