Gazprom Neft to spend 7 bln rubles by 2012 on filling station rebranding

MOSCOW. Sept 4 (Interfax) - Gazprom Neft will spend about 7 billion rubles in 2009-2011 on a complete rebranding of its filling stations, the company said in a statement.

By the end of 2009 the company plans to complete makeovers of 230 filling stations.

The massive project to create a uniform network of filling stations in the new livery involves upgrades to over 1,000 filling stations in 14 Russian regions in 2009-2011.

On Friday the company opened the first filling station under the new brand in Omsk. Experience indicates that sales at the upgraded stations rise 15%-20%, the statement says.

Gazprom Neft sold approximately 2.8 million tonnes of products through its filling station network in 2008.

The network currently operates under a number of different brands.
