GAZ shareholders reelect board of directors
MOSCOW. Sept 8 (Interfax) - Shareholders in OJSC GAZ , at an extraordinary meeting on Monday, reelected the group's board of directors, the company said in a statement.
The recently elected board features no new members. Its current members are: Bo Andersson chairman of the GAZ board, Eleonora Bosova, director of legal affairs at Russian Machines, Siegfried Wolf co-CEO of Magna International, Andrei Elinson deputy general director of corporate governance at Basic Element, Sergei Zanozin CEO of GAZ Group, Alexei Ipatov general director FGUP NAMI, Valery Lukin general director of Russian Machines, Igor Ryzhkov, deputy general director of resource protection at Russian Machines, and Svetlana Sokolova first deputy chairman of the GAZ Group.
The GAZ Group produces cars, commercial transport and road construction equipment. The holding includes 18 auto plants as well as sales and service structures.
GAZ is part of Russian Machines, Basic Element's (BasEl) machine building division. Businessman Oleg Deripaska is the owner of BasEl.
