Russian govt approves 150 bln rubles in guarantees

MOSCOW. Sept 9 (Interfax) - The Russian government has reached decisions to issue 150 billion rubles in guarantees, or half the amount budgeted for this purpose, First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said at a meeting with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

"State guarantees for 56 billion rubles have been endorsed, but the commission of Finance Ministry and Economic Development Ministry officials has reached decisions on 150 billion rubles, or half the amount the federal budget sets aside for these purposes," Shuvalov said.
