ARMZ, Areva discussing uranium cooperation in Africa

LONDON. Sept 10 (Interfax) - Atomredmetzoloto (ARMZ), the Russian uranium holding, is discussing possible cooperation regarding Africa-based uranium assets and plans to hold further talks at the beginning of October. ARMZ chief Vadim Zhivov said on the sidelines of the World Nuclear Association symposium in London.

"Specific areas [of cooperation] have now been penciled in and we plan to meet and hold talks in Namibia in the first week of October," he said.
