Russia so far refraining from borrowing abroad in 2009, looking at markets
MOSCOW. Sept 14 (Interfax) - Russia is so far refraining from borrowing abroad this year but is looking at the markets, said Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Kudrin, who is also the country's finance minister.
"We are for now refraining [from borrowing abroad] but we're looking at the market. The situation may arise when we say right, let's do it, but we're being cautious for now. This is our considered, conscious position," Kudrin said at a roundtable during the presentation of a book by Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Storchak.
