Nestle launches new cereal production line at Perm plant

PERM. Sept 18 (Interfax) - Nestle Russia has launched a new breakfast cereal production line at its plant in Perm, the company's press service said.

Investment in the modernization of equipment totaled about 1 billion rubles.

The Perm plant now produces almost all of Nestle's breakfast cereal assortment represented on the Russian market.

Nestle has been operating in Russia since 1995. The company has confectionery factories in Samara, Perm and Barnaul, a coffee plant in Timashevsk in the Krasnodar territory, a joint venture for fast serving porridge production under the Bystrov brand with the Clear Water Company, an ice cream production facility in the Moscow region and LLC Nestle Vologda Baby Food.
