Dollar drops in MICEX opening to 30.3 rubles, bicurrency basket slips to 36.735 rubles
MOSCOW. Sept 22 (Interfax) - The U.S. dollar started to decline again in morning MICEX trading on Tuesday following its downward trajectory in world forex transactions. At the same time, the market value of the bi-currency basket declined to an increase in oil prices.
The dollar opened Tomorrow trading at 30.3 rubles, which was a 12-kopeck loss from its close on Monday and 7 kopecks below the official rate.
At the start of MICEX trading, the euro increased by 4.5 kopecks to 44.6 rubles/EUR1, which is 7 kopecks above the official rate of the Central Bank.
The bi-currency basket slipped in the opening minutes of trading by 3.5 kopecks to 36.735 rubles.
