Oil export duty to rise to $240.7 per tonne Oct 1

MOSCOW. Sept 28 (Interfax) - Russia will increase the oil export duty to $240.7 per tonne effective October 1 under a resolution (N756) dated September 25 and posted on the government web site.

The export duty has been $238.6 per tonne from September 1.

The export duty on refined product will increase to $173.1 per tonne on October 1 for light oil products and to $93.2 per tonne for heavy oil products.

The Russian government calculated the export duty based on the price of Urals crude on European markets in the August 15-September 14 monitoring period.
