MOSCOW. Oct 1 (Interfax) - OJSC Russian Railways' (RZD) IFRS revenue in 2008 increasee by 18% to 1.2 trillion rubles from 1.016 trillion rubles posted in 2007, the company's president, Vladimir Yakunin, told journalists in Moscow on Thursday.

"We had decent results. Revenue for 2008 came to 1.2 trillion rubles," he said.

Yakunin also said that the company had increased its forecast for transport in 2009. Instead of an earlier planned drop of 19% in transport, the company now expects to see a decrease of 15%-16%.
