MOSCOW. Oct 6 (Interfax) - Russia's trade surplus fell to $78.5 billion in January-August 2009, barely half the amount of the surplus in the same period last year, the Federal Customs Service reported.
Trade turnover fell 45% to $277 billion in the eight months compared to the same period of 2008.
