Ufa refineries receive 9.12% more crude oil in Sept than in Aug
MOSCOW. Oct 6 (Interfax) - The group of oil refineries in Ufa - Ufaneftechim , Novoil and Ufimsky NPZ - received 1.959 million tonnes of crude oil in September, 9.12% more than in August.
AFK Sistema acquired controlling stakes in the refineries in April.
The refineries produced 1.482 million tonnes of motor fuel in September, 6.14% more than in August.
They boosted production of Euro-standard diesel fuel 4.51% to 695,100 tonnes, but gasoline production declined 7.09% to 431,000 tonnes, Sistema-Invest, which manages the group's Bashkortostan energy assets, told Interfax.
Capacity utilization at the refineries has increased owing to crude oil delivery contracts that Bashneft has concluded with Lukoil , TNK-BP and Shell.
Gasoline output fell in September due to declining demand on the domestic market and rising prices for diesel fuel on export markets.
