Watchdog to make further checks at power plants ahead of peak season

MOSCOW. Oct 7 (Interfax) - The Russian State Technical Standards Oversight Agency (Rostekhnadzor) will perform further checks at power plants and heat suppliers to ensure they are ready for the peak winter season, the watchdog said in a statement.

The instruction is set down in minutes for a meeting chaired by the Russian prime minister.
