MOSCOW. Oct 13 (Interfax) - OJSC Transneft on Tuesday closed the placement of its second series bond issue worth 35 billion rubles, the company said in a statement.

A total of 35 million bonds were placed, or 100% of the issue.

The bonds mature over 3,640 days.

It was earlier reported that Transneft set the rate of the issue's first coupon at 11.75%.

Coupons 2-6 will be based on the Central Bank's fixed 12-month repo rate valid on the third day before the corresponding coupon period plus a margin of 2%.

The company will offer to buy the bonds back on the third working day of the seventh coupon period.

The Federal Financial Markets Service (FFMS) registered the bond issue at the end of August.

The company placed a third series of 65 billion rubles among 14 Russian banks at the end of September.
