Bank Soyuz loses Moody

MOSCOW. Oct 14 (Interfax) - Moody's has recalled its rating for Bank Soyuz, citing a lack of information and the bank's own request.

The long- and short-term ratings for deposits in foreign currency and rubles was "Caa1/Not Prime" and the rating for unsecured foreign currency liabilities was "Caa1". Moody's had placed the bank on negative ratings watch.

Bank Soyuz was the 43rd biggest Russian bank by assets according to the Interfax-100 list as of the end of the first half of 2009.
