Russian, Czech presidents discussing economic cooperation, intl issues

BARVIKHA, Moscow region. Oct 14 (Interfax) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev intends to discuss bilateral projects and international issues of interest to both Russia and the Czech Republic with Czech President Vaclav Klaus.

"I cordially welcome you here outside Moscow, where there are all the necessary conditions for fruitful work," Medvedev said addressing Klaus in a presidential residence in Barvikha, the Moscow region.

The Russian leader proposed discussing "all issues pertaining to Russian-Czech interaction, the economy and about how we are combating the global crisis," Medvedev said.

The Russian leader said he was willing to share his impressions from the recent G20 summit in Pittsburgh with Klaus. Among other subjects for discussion, Medvedev mentioned "the development of major bilateral projects, international issues, and other affairs that are of mutual interest."

He said he hoped for "a promising and interesting dialogue."
