China's crude oil imports grow 14 pct year-on-year in September

Shanghai. October 14. INTERFAX-CHINA - China's crude oil imports in September grew by 14.44 percent year-on-year to 17.20 million tons, but fell by 6.9 percent from the previous month, according to statistics released by the General Administration of Customs (GAC) on Oct. 14.

Meanwhile, the country's fuel imports grew by 3.32 percent month-on-month to 2.80 million tons, and coal exports continued to rise on a monthly basis, growing from 1.91 million tons in August to 2.02 million tons in September, according to the GAC.

The tables below specify China's energy product trade in September and crude oil import and coal export volumes for the first nine months 2009.
