Tariff for oil transport via Talakan-Skovorodino to come to 880 rubles per tonne

MOSCOW. Oct 14 (Interfax) - Transneft will charge 880 rubles per tonne to pump oil easterly on the Talakan-Skovorodino segment of the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean pipeline (ESPO) effective November 1.

"This decision was made today at a meeting of the service's administration," Anna Martynova, a spokeswoman for the Federal Tariffs Service, told Interfax.

Transneft spokesman Igor Demin told Interfax previously that oil from Talakan would be shipped both west and east in November and perhaps December: about 100,000 tonnes in the designed, easterly direction and 200,000 tonnes in the reverse direction. Oil will be loaded into rail cars at Meget, Irkutsk region, and Skovorodino, Amur region. Shipments in the reverse direction will halt as soon as the terminal at Kozmino is ready to operate at full capacity, Demin said.

The terminal is scheduled for startup in early November.

The tariffs for rail shipment will be charged at existing rates for the time being.

A total of 300,000 tonnes of crude oil is planned for shipment through Kozmino in the fourth quarter, to be divided equally between Surgutneftegas and TNK-BP .
