Oil output up 0.6% in Russia in Jan-Sept, natural gas production drops 18.6% - Rosstat
MOSCOW. Oct 15 (Interfax) - Total oil production in Russia, including gas condensate, in January-September 2009 increased by 0.6% year-on-year to 367 million tonnes, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said.
Gas production in Russia over the nine months dropped by 18.6% year-on-year to 403 billion cubic meters.
Primary oil refinement in Russia in January-September dipped by 0.6% year-on-year to 176 million tonnes.
According to Rosstat, total gasoline production in the nine months went up 1.3% year-on-year to 26.8 million tonnes. Production of diesel fuel slipped by 2% to 50.2 million tonnes. Russian refineries produced 47.6 million tonnes of heating oil, up 0.9%, and 1.8 million tonnes of lubricants, down 16.2%.
