Azerbaijan GDP grows 6.1% in 9 months

BAKU. Oct 16 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan's gross domestic product increased 6.1% from January to September, the country's industrial and agricultural output growing 5% and 3% respectively, inflation edging up 2.1%, the population's money incomes rising 10%, and the average monthly wage going up 15% in this period, President Ilham Aliyev said on Friday.

Aliyev, who cited the statistics at a government meeting, also put Azerbaijan's current foreign currency reserves at $19 billion.
