Evraz Group's Yuzhkuzbassugol wins Kuzbass coal license
KEMEROVO. Oct 20 (Interfax) - Coal producer Yuzhkuzbassugol, which is wholly owned by the Evraz Group, won an auction for exploration and mining rights to the Alardinsky Novy section of the Alardinskoye and Teshskoye coal fields in the Kuznetsk basin (Kuzbass, Kemerovo region), an Interfax correspondent reports from the auction room.
Yuzhkuzbassugol bid 509.3 million rubles for the license.
Raspadskaya , which is part-controlled by Evraz, also turned up to bid but did not raise the starting price, which was 463 million rubles.
The 14.68-square km section contains 210 million tonnes of
