Foreign direct investment to decline over 10% in 2009 - Dvorkovich

MOSCOW. Oct 21 (Interfax) - Foreign direct investment (FDI) in Russia will decline by more than 10% this year, presidential aide Arkady Dvorkovich told journalists in Moscow on Wednesday.

"The decline [in FDI] this year will be quite severe, over 10%," he said.

But there will be an inflow of FDI in 2010, he said.

"Optimism concerning recovery from the crisis is transforming into activation of investment activity next year," he said.
