Russia in loan talks with Serbia - Kremlin
MOSCOW. Oct 21 (Interfax) - Talks on a Russian loan to Serbia are proceeding positively, Kremlin spokeswoman Natalya Timakova said.
No agreement on the extension of a loan to Serbia was signed during President Dmitry Medvedev's official visit to Belgrade on Tuesday, she said.
"The talks are continuing in a positive spirit. The Serbian side is drawing up a list of projects to substantiate the importance of the loan," Timakova said, noting that this procedure is common in decision-making on loans.
The size of the loan "is being negotiated," she also said.
Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin earlier said that the loan could be worth 1 billion euros.
