Banks have just $1 bln on CB forex accounts
MOSCOW. Oct 23 (Interfax) - Russian banks have approximately $1 billion on forex accounts with the Central Bank, CB First Deputy Chairman Alexei Ulyukayev told reporters.
"It's not very much - a marginal sum, approximately $1 billion," he said.
Ulyukayev earlier said banks had $11 billion on these accounts at the end of September.
They have received the right to open correspondent accounts with the CB in dollars and euros on February 5.
