Finland will decide on Nord Stream by Nov 5

ST. PETERSBURG. Oct 25 (Interfax) - The decision of the Finnish government on the construction of the Nord Stream gas pipeline across the country's economic zone in the Baltic is expected on November 5, Finnish Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen has said.

"The situation looks so that by November 5 the government will compile proposals to make a positive decision on Nord Stream. After that matters will depend on the environmental study," he said at a press conference after talks with Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg.
