MOESK posts 5.7 bln rubles in net profit for Q3 against losses a year previous
MOSCOW. Nov 3 (Interfax) - Moscow United Electric Grid Company (MOESK)'s net profit for the third quarter of 2009 came to 5.668 billion rubles, an improvement from the 694.9 million rubles in net losses the company had in the same period of 2008.
In comparison with the previous quarter of 2009, MOESK's net profit went up by 29.4% from 4.381 billion rubles, the materials said.
Interfax was unable to get commentary from the company regarding its results.
MOESK, Russia's largest interregional electricity distribution company, serves consumers in Moscow and Moscow region. It is controlled by IDGC Holding.
