Sitronics signs agreement with Etisalat for supply of wireless equipment
MOSCOW. Nov 10 (Interfax) - Greece's Intracom Telecom, a subsidiary of Russia's OJSC Sitronics , has signed a framework agreement with the Etisalat telecommunications company for the supply of equipment for organizing wireless services.
Sitronics said in a statement that the agreement foresees the supply of equipment that will expand traffic in 2G and 3G networks and provide broadband wireless services.
The cost of the equipment has yet to be released.
OJSC Sitronics, formerly Science Center Concern, was formed in December 2002. The group includes Sitronics Telecom Solutions Czech Republics (former STROM Telecom), Sitronics IT B.V. (former Kvazar- Micro), OJSC Mikron and Kvant Production Association, and has a 51% interest in Greece's Intracom Telecom.
