Associated gas problem needs to be resolved soon
MOSCOW. Nov 12 (Interfax) - The problem of associated petroleum gas (APG) utilization needs to be resolved quickly, and no excuses from oil companies will be tolerated, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said in his address to the Federal Assembly.
Flaring associated gas "pollutes the atmosphere, and tend of billions are going up in flames," he said.
"We need to act decisively, and not accept any excuses from the extractive companies," he said.
