Ukraine ups iron ore exports 12% in ten mths

KYIV. Nov 12 (Interfax) - Ukraine raised iron ore exports tentatively 11.9% year-on-year in January-October to 22.013 million tonnes, Ukrrudprom, the association of Ukrainian mining enterprises, told Interfax.

Iron ore concentrate exports soared 67.8% to 9.705 million tonnes and pellets were up 3.6% to 7.899 million tonnes, however sinter ore exports fell 32.1% to 4.209 million tonnes.

Iron ore imports grew 25.3% year-on-year to 3.349 million in the ten months.
