Dollar declines against ruble at open on Mon as euro rises
MOSCOW. Nov 16 (Interfax) - The dollar declined against the ruble and the euro gained in the first minutes of trading on the MICEX currency exchange on Monday.
The dollar opened trading in "tom" contracts at 28.7-28.72 rubles/$1, which is approximately 15 kopecks below the close on Friday and 10 kopecks below the Central Bank's exchange rate.
The euro opened at 43 rubles/1 euro, 3 kopecks above the previous close and 10 kopecks above the official exchange rate.
The bicurrency basket ($0.55 and 0.45 euro) declined to 35.14-35.15 rubles, 6-7 kopecks below the close on Monday.
