Rosinter Restaurants loses $2.6 mln in H1

MOSCOW. Nov 16 (Interfax) - Rosinter Restaurants , a major Russian restaurant holding, posted a net loss of $2.6 million in the first six months of 2009 under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) compared with a profit of $0.8 million in the same period last year, the company said in its earnings statement.

Revenue fell 24.7% to $124.1 million, which Rosinter said was due to the 38.1% decline in the value of the ruble against the dollar. In ruble terms revenue increased 4% to 4.1 billion rubles.
