Avtovaz loses 19.7 bln rubles in 9 mths under RAS
MOSCOW. Nov 16 (Interfax) - Russian carmaker Avtovaz posted a net loss of 19.7 billion rubles in the first nine months of 2009 under Russian accounting standards compared with a net profit of 834 million rubles in the same period last year, the company said in its earnings report.
Revenue totaled 60.803 billion rubles in the nine months compared with 126.6 billion rubles a year ago.
Production costs in the nine months topped total sales revenue by 2.5 billion rubles, which came to 60.8 billion rubles.
