Dollar, euro edge down against ruble

MOSCOW. Nov 10 (Interfax) - The dollar edged down 4 kopecks from yesterday's closing to 28.67-28.68 rubles/$1 in the first few minutes of trading on the MICEX exchange.

This is close to today's official rate.

The euro was down 8 kopecks to 42.9 rubles/EUR1, and 5 kopecks below the official rate.

The ruble grew 6-7 kopeck to 35.07 rubles against the dual currency basket ($0.55 and EUR 0.45).

The Interfax Center for Economic Analysis said the ruble was strengthening because liquidity was high and because global investors had faith in the Russian market, despite the likelihood of a correction in the equity markets.
