Bank CenterCredit boosts assets 18% in Jan-Sept

ALMATY. Nov 18 (Interfax) - As of September 30, 2009 the assets of Kazakhstan's commercial Bank CenterCredit came to 1,110.013 billion tenge (current FOREX rate is 149.17/$1) against 940.528 billion tenge in early 2009, the bank said in its unaudited consolidated financial statement. The bank's liabilities increased to 1.010 trillion tenge from 845.915 billion tenge, equity l grew to 99.710 billion tenge from 94.613 billion tenge. Authorized capital remained flat at 52.684 billion tenge.

In January-September 2009 Bank CenterCredit earned 5.461 billion tenge in net profit against 6.136 billion in the same period of 2008.

In 2008 Bank CenterCredit was ranked 24th by assets among the CIS banks and 6th among the Kazakh commercial banks according to the Interfax-1000: CIS Banks ranking prepared by the Interfax Center of Economic Analysis.
