KYIV. Nov 20 (Interfax) - Ukraine and Russia are preparing to establish a joint venture as part of their program for cooperation in satellite navigation services, head of Ukraine's National Space Agency Oleksandr Zynchenko told journalists.

The Kharkiv-based Research Institute of Electronic Measurements and Moscow's Research Institute of Instrument Engineering have been selected as possible partners in the future JV, Zynchenko said.

Preparations for the project have continued for the past two months, he said.

"We have made considerable progress in the past six months. All preparations have almost been completed," he added.
