Gas consumption in Russia down 4.5% in October
MOSCOW. Nov 24 (Interfax) - Gas consumption in Russia fell 4.5% year-on-year in October to 28.071 billion cubic meters of pipeline gas, the Fuel and Energy Central Dispatch Center said.
October 2008 was the first month that gas consumption stopped rising due to the financial crisis. Consumption fell 0.2% that month.
