Russian oil exports to grow slightly by 2030

MOSCOW. Nov 26 (Interfax) - Oil exports from Russia will remain virtually unchanged through 2030, according to the Energy Strategy to 2030 approved by the government.

Russia will export 222 million-248 million tonnes of oil in 2030 compared with 243 million tonnes in 2008. Exports will total 243 million-244 million tonnes in the first phase (2013-2015) and 240 million-252 million tonnes in the second (2020-2022).

Domestic oil consumption will rise to 275 million-311 million tonnes by 2030 compared with 236 million tonnes in 2008. Production in 2030 will total 530 million-535 million tonnes.

Russia's overall energy exports will total 974 million-975 million tonnes of fuel equivalent in 2030 compared with 883 million tonnes in 2008.
