Investment funds with focus on Russia, CIS see $21.5 mln inflow in latest week

MOSCOW. Nov 27 (Interfax) - The inflow of capital to funds that invest in Russia and the CIS totaled $21.5 million in the week of November 19-25, compared with $42.4 million in the preceding week, according to data from Emerging Portfolio Fund Research (EPFR), Uralsib said in a note to investors.

The inflow for the week was barely have the weekly average for the year, Uralsib's Andrei Bogdanovich said in the note. Total inflow in the January 1-November 25 period is $1.6 billion, he said.

Dubai World's request for a six-month standstill on debt repayment will almost certainly produce a substantial outflow of capital from Russia and CIS funds in the coming week, he said.
