Russian airlines see passenger volumes decline 4.1% in Jan-Sept

MOSCOW. Nov 27 (Interfax) - Passenger volumes on Russian airlines declined 4.1% in January-September 2009 year-on-year to 30.359 million, the federal air transportation agency Rosaviatsia reported.

The report covers Russia's 15 biggest airlines, which account for 79.3% of total passenger volume.

Passenger turnover for the 15 companies declined 1.3% to 82.6 billion passenger-kilometers in the nine months.
